2. What data Espejal processes
Espejal is a puzzle game for mobile devices. You do not need to create an account and we do not ask for your name, email or any other contact details. Your progress and settings are stored on your device.
If you accept in the consent form, we use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand how the game is played and to fix crashes. These services may collect when games start and end, scores, use of aids, ads watched, purchases and settings such as language or colour palette; an app installation identifier; technical device data (model, system version, language, approximate country); your IP address, which Google processes to obtain that data; and crash reports. The legal basis is your consent.
We do not collect your name, email, location or text you write.
3. Consent
When you first open the game, and where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), Google’s consent form is shown. On iOS you are also asked for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). Until you decide, no analytics data is sent.
You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy. If you do not accept, the game works the same, although you may see non-personalised ads or fewer ads.
4. Advertising
Espejal shows interstitial ads at the end of a game (at most one every two games) and offers optional rewarded ads, for example to undo a piece. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising identifier, IP address and technical data to show ads and measure their performance. You can reset or disable the advertising identifier in your device settings. More information: how Google uses advertising data.
5. In-app purchases
You can buy ad removal (one-time purchase) and cosmetic colour palettes. Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play; we do not receive your payment details. You can restore your purchases from the game settings.
6. Game services and cloud save
Cloud sync (optional). If you turn on “Sync with the cloud” in Settings, Espejal saves your progress (your high scores and, if there is one, your game in progress) in your device’s game service: Google Play Games on Android, or Game Center with iCloud on iOS. Your player identifier from that service is used for this. This data is managed by Google or Apple under their own policies; ThomasLand Technologies does not receive it or use it for any other purpose. You can turn it off at any time in Settings and delete what has been saved from the Play Games or Game Center settings, or by writing to us at contacto@thomasland.es.
7. Sharing
The result card you can share is generated on your device. It only leaves it if you choose a destination app in the share menu; we receive nothing.
8. Third parties and international transfers
Firebase and AdMob data is processed by Google as processor or controller depending on the service. Google may transfer data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided by law (such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). More information: Google’s privacy policy and privacy in Firebase.
9. Retention
Your progress stays on your device until you uninstall the game. Analytics data is kept in Firebase for at most 14 months and crash reports for 90 days.
10. Children
Espejal is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children of that age. If you believe a child has provided us with data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to contacto@thomasland.es. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
12. Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
